La banda estadounidense de metal Repentance, con sede en Chicago, Illinois, lanzará su nuevo álbum 'The Process Of Human Demise' el 4 de agosto bajo el sello discográfico Noble Demon. Made in Metal habla con su cantante, Adam Gilley, para saber todo sobre este álbum y la historia de la banda.
MiM: "The Process Of Human Demise" (Noble Demon, 2023) es un álbum lleno de rabia, agresivo y poderoso. Sonido de riff de guitarra cortante y pesado. ¿Qué me puedes decir de este disco?
AG: Este disco fue divertido de hacer. Significa que es un puñetazo en la cara y sigue moviéndose como un tanque. No se detiene.
MiM: "Withered and Decayed", una canción con Milo Silvestro (Fear Factory) como invitado especial, ¡es puro Metal! La mezcla de voces de Milo y Adam Gilley es magnífica y suena increíble. ¿Cómo surgió la idea?
AG: Queríamos un vocalista invitado y Shaun estaba hablando con Dino al respecto, y Milo se mencionó y de alguna manera así fue como sucedió. Milo hizo un trabajo fantástico, podría agregar.
MiM: "The Process Of Human Demise" es un álbum de Metal con una fuerte influencia Hardcore. ¿Es tan?
AG: No sé, es realmente difícil decirlo. No diría que el núcleo duro es una fuerte influencia. Creo que más thrash y groove. Conoces bandas como Pantera, Slayer, Testament, tal vez incluso una pequeña vibra de Chimaira.

AG: Sí, absolutamente. Es impresionante. Siempre estamos verdaderamente agradecidos y honrados de haber tenido la oportunidad de compartir el escenario con un talento tan increíble.
MiM: Normalmente, cuando sacas un disco nuevo, lo normal después es salir de gira. ¿Qué planes tenéis para promocionar este disco?
AG: Vamos a hacer todo lo que podamos para promover "The Process Of Human Demise" lo mejor que podamos dentro de nuestras posibilidades.
MiM: Finalmente, quería que se sintieran libres de compartir algunas palabras con sus fans y nuestros lectores.

American Metal band Repentance, based in Chicago, Illinois will release their new album 'The Process Of Human Demise' on August 4th under the Noble Demon record label. Made in Metal talks with his singer, Adam Gilley, to find out everything about this album and the history of the band.
MiM: "The Process Of Human Demise" (Noble Demon, 2023) is an album full of rage, aggressive and powerful. Cutting and heavy guitar riff sound. What can you tell me about this record?
AG: This record was fun to make. It means it’s a punch to the face and it keeps moving like a tank. It doesn’t stop.
MiM: "Withered and Decayed", a song featuring Milo Silvestro (Fear Factory) as a special guest, is pure Metal! The mix of voices from Milo and Adam Gilley is magnificent and sounds amazing. How did the idea come about?
AG: We wanted to guest vocalist and Shaun was talking to Dino about it, and Milo got brought up and somehow that’s how that happened. Milo did a fantastic job i might add.
MiM: "The Process Of Human Demise" is a Metal album with a strong Hardcore influence. Is it so?
AG: I don’t know that’s really tough to say I wouldn’t say that hard-core is a strong influence. I would think more thrash and groove. You know bands like Pantera, Slayer, Testament, maybe even a little Chimaira vibe.
MiM: Corey Beaulieu (Trivium) is another guest on this album. How was recording with this great musician?
AG: Yeah, It was great. Corey did such a great job with those leads.
MiM: Could we define the sound of the band or, on the contrary, are they a restless band that likes to innovate and open new proposals?
AG: Well, Shaun knows how to write I mean riff. Alex Lackner did a great job recording and getting the tones right and Chris Collier just sealed the deal with mixing and mastering.
MiM: How has the experience of sharing shows with bands like Trivium, Devildriver, Jinjer, Skull Fist, Toxic Holocaust, and Sacred Reich among others?
AG: Yeah absolutely. It’s awesome. We are always truly grateful and honored to have had the opportunity to share the stage with such amazing talent.
MiM: Normally when you put out a new record, the normal thing to do afterward is go on tour. What plans do you have to promote this record?
AG: We are gonna do all that we can to promote "The Process Of Human Demise" the best we possibly can within our means.
